Bianca Belair made headlines last week by winning the WWE Women’s Royal Rumble, going past every formidable participant and lasting till the end.  She managed to beat her old rival Rhea Ripley to the race and will now head on to WrestleMania to challenge for the title of her choice. Things have never been better for Bianca, and she is grateful for everything. In a recent post on Twitter, the ‘EST of WWE’ sent out an emotional message to her husband Montez Ford, who emotionally supported her throughout her journey in WWE.  Montez Ford, a member of The Street Profits with Angelo Dawkins, has been holding the WWE men’s Tag team division in place through his charisma. Bianca and he have been happily married since June 23, 2018.  When Bianca Belair won the Royal Rumble, she was overcome with emotion and broke down in tears while being announced as the winner.  The first thing she did after coming through the curtains was hug Montez amidst the cheers and applause from the backstage crew. “You Will Be Fired”- Paul Heyman Sends a Stern Warning to WWE Official Adam Pearce
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Edge returned to the blue brand after ten years on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown. His quest to find a suitable champion led him to the ‘Tribal Chief,’ who wasn’t pleased with Edge’s mind games. Roman Reigns tried to force Edge into choosing him as his opponent for WrestleMania, but a stunner from Kevin Owens cut the segment short. This led to Paul Heyman issuing a stern warning to WWE official Adam Pearce. Paul Heyman warns Adam Pearce after SmackDown debacle SmackDown was a pretty forgettable night for Roman Reigns. After Edge got into his head with his mind games, he ate a Stunner from the man he’s beaten on three occasions. Owens is the fly that Reigns cannot swat away, and his special counsel Paul Heyman has taken matters into his own hands. Roman Reigns wants to face Edge at WrestleMania. Everyone knows a match with Edge will guarantee the main event spot at WrestleMania., and ‘The Tribal Chief’ wants his fifth WrestleMania main event. Heyman claims Pearce has allowed Edge to steer the WWE off course by playing mind games with Roman Reigns. One can safely assume that Edge is now living inside Reigns’ mind rent-free, and Heyman is correcting the mistake. He also warned Pearce against offering Kevin Owens anymore title shots. According to Paul Heyman, refusing to heed his words could get Pearce fired. We highly doubt that Heyman holds such power, but since returning to the WWE, Heyman and Reigns have transformed into bullies. Will we see Edge vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania? The rivalry with Kevin Owens has neither added heat to Reigns’ title reign, nor taken away his momentum. After beating him on three separate occasions, Reigns should move on to another opponent. With WrestleMania two months away, it is time to set the plans in motion. Roman might have to defend the title once or twice on the Road to WrestleMania, but he absolutely has to retain the gold. A match with Edge would be the biggest match of Roman’s meteoric career. Reigns deserves a marquee match at WrestleMania and is the only champion worth facing Edge. At Elimination Chamber, Reigns will walk out of the haunting structure with the title on his shoulder. Out of nowhere, Edge hit him with a vicious spear. This will lead to a month of intense build, full of promos by Edge, Heyman and Reigns. Reigns vs Edge is too big a rivalry for WWE to miss out on, and WrestleMania is the perfect place for it to culminate.

From Matt Riddle to Keith Lee, Why Are NXT Superstars Constantly Failing on WWE’s Main Roster?
By admin | | 0 Comments |

WWE’s developmental program is second to none. The Performance Center has churned out some of the best homegrown talents in WWE. Unfortunately, majority of the superstars from NXT and the Performance Center are suffering from bad booking on the main roster. Is there a particular reason WWE is failing to make the best out of NXT talent? Why are Matt Riddle and Keith Lee treading water? Why are NXT Superstars failing on the WWE main roster? The very first batch of NXT call-ups were the infamous Nexus. Led by a young Wade Barrett, the Nexus wreaked havoc on Monday Night Raw in 2010. Every member of the Nexus had a dazzling future, but WWE ruined their push at SummerSlam 2010. The unstoppable force ran into an immovable object called John Cena, who buried them at SummerSlam. In 2015, Kevin Owens waltzed into the WWE and confronted the biggest name in the business. He defeated Cena in his very first match on the main roster, a fantastic match at Elimination Chamber 2015. Unfortunately, Cena got the better of Owens in their next two PPV outings, rendering his debut win redundant. In a similar manner, WWE have sacrificed so many brilliant NXT superstars to boost the profile of established main roster stars. Shinsuke Nakamura jobbed to Jinder Mahal, Bobby Roode jobbed to Randy Orton, Samoa Joe jobbed to Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, and Ricochet did not deserve the beating he took from Brock Lesnar. WWE desperately needs to break this toxic pattern of uplifting the already uplifted. Randy Orton will lose nothing by putting over Bobby Roode, neither would Cena by putting over Owens, Rusev, Baron Corbin and Sami Zayn. Matt Riddle did not need to job to Bobby Lashley, and Keith Lee should’ve been a main roster success by now. There is a set of NXT Superstars who have enjoyed an unbelievable amount of success, and maybe a lesson can be learnt from them. Why are the Four Horsewomen so successful on the main roster? Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Becky Lynch are the most successful women on the roster. They share 22 Women’s Championships between them, and the Four Horsewomen are probably the only NXT call-ups who haven’t been buried on Raw or SmackDown. Along with them, other NXT female competitors have enjoyed spectacular runs on the main roster. Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax, Asuka, Carmella, Shayna Baszler and even Mandy Rose have been part of high-profile storylines. NXT’s female call-ups have fared better than their male counterparts. A major reason for this is because the WWE recognizes the superiority in their in-ring work. The likes of Sasha Banks and Charlotte are way more talented than the Bella Twins, Lanas and Kelly Kellys of WWE. If WWE recognise the potential held by Matt Riddle and Keith Lee, maybe they would be at the pinnacle of WWE. WATCH: When John Cena Humiliated Brock Lesnar on Mic Before Their Encounter on Smackdown in 2003
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Heel John Cena was absolutely entertaining. The rapper gimmick was not a big hit in 2003, but it would end up laying the foundation for Cena’s career in the late 2000s. One match that defined Cena’s heel run was a thrilling SmackDown main event against Brock Lesnar. Brock Lesnar vs John Cena: SmackDown, Feb. 13, 2003 Brock Lesnar portraying the babyface against John Cena is an unusual sight. But WWE was a different place in 2003. Lesnar was heading into a WrestleMania program with the WWE Champion Kurt Angle and needed a big win. The 2003 Royal Rumble winner found an opponent in a young John Cena. Cena busted out some scathing rhymes, targeted at Lesnar’s intelligence, or rather lack thereof. This angered the Beast who pummeled Cena as soon as he stepped into the ring. Lesnar tossed Cena around with overhead belly-to-belly suplexes, but Cena fought back by wrapping his steel chain around his fist and smashing Lesnar in the face with it. Cena fought his way back into the match and almost put away the No. 1 contender for the WWE Championship. However, Lesnar slammed Cena’s skull off the steel turnbuckle and dropped him with a match-winning F5. After the match, he F5’d John Cena against the steel ring post to send a message to Kurt Angle. The incredible rivalry between Lesnar and Cena No one expected Brock Lesnar to return to the WWE in 2012. His altercation with John Cena on the Raw after WrestleMania 28 is one of the best moments in the history of WWE’s flagship show. Since then, John Cena became a sworn enemy of the Beast Incarnate. Cena and Lesnar met at Extreme Rules in a match that defined the word ‘extreme’. Lesnar beat the life out of Cena, but the latter eked out a shock win by hitting an Attitude Adjustment on the steel steps for the win. The next match between the two was something completely different. At SummerSlam 2014, Brock Lesnar brought the pain to John Cena. Sixteen suplexes and two F5s were all it took for Brock Lesnar to beat Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Cena would receive his rematch at Night of Champions, but Seth Rollins would cost him the title. Lesnar, Rollins and Cena would then face off in a blockbuster triple threat match at the 2015 Royal Rumble. Read More: The Controversy Behind the Backstage Fight Between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle

What’s Ronda Rousey Doing Right Now After Leaving WWE?
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Ronda Rousey has not been seen in WWE since her loss to Becky Lynch two years ago at WrestleMania. She has been gone far too long now, and fans wonder if she ever will return to WWE.  Since her contract is set to expire this year, we may have to come to terms with the fact that Rousey will never return to the ring, and we have probably seen the last of her in the business.  Ronda has expressed that she enjoys spending time with her family during her hiatus and feels relaxed. She did not enjoy the hectic tour schedule that WWE placed her in during her major push.  So the question now arises- what’s next for Ronda Rousey? What’s her next order of business after the WWE contract expires, considering it does expire without renewal?  Ronda Rousey may spend time working on her ranch Rousey is enjoying life at home, which is on Brousey Ranch in Riverside, California. The sustainable ranch home is where Ronda and her husband Travis Brown have planted roots and intend to stay.  Ronda could spend her time tending to the ranch and improving it. In some YouTube videos, she has expressed her love for the lifestyle. Another option open to Rousey is her career as a gamer. The former Raw Women’s Champion has become an avid gamer during her hiatus and spent a lot of time on Twitch before WWE clamped down its ban on Superstars.  Rousey can also explore her gaming career Rousey now live streams gameplay on WWE’s own streaming service but will surely move back to Twitch if her contract expires. She could pursue a career as a professional gamer then, which will surely suit her fancy.  Ronda Rousey prefers not to return to action in WWE or any form of the fight. Her spine injury causes her constant pain, and she truly felt the burden during WWE’s hectic tour schedule.  She did not appreciate fans’ reception of her efforts, who booed her on many occasions, and she feels that her time in WWE is over. She feels a lot more relaxed at home, and that’s probably what her next area of focus will be.

WATCH: When Braun Strowman Shocked Brock Lesnar With a Display of Superhuman Strength
By admin | | 0 Comments |

If you take a four-year stroll down memory lane, you’ll remember that Brock Lesnar dominated the WWE Universe as Universal Champion. He had vanquished every opp0nent placed in front of him and showed no mercy.  Paul Heyman was under the impression that his client was invincible and that Brock Lesnar was the supreme force in WWE. He was extremely confident that Lesnar would beat John Cena yet again and boasted about ‘The Beast Incarnate’ on Monday Night Raw. Little did Heyman know that he had provoked a sleeping monster, as Braun Strowman interrupted the promo to lock eyes with Lesnar. The 6’8” giant made his way to the ring, while Lesnar prepared to make another statement.  However, things took an unplanned turn for the Universal Champion because Strowman was equally prepared. Brock attempted to end the fight early by sending Strowman to Suplex city. However, he failed when ‘The Monster Among Men’ hit him with a hard elbow. Although, Brock Lesnar got the upper hand by finally delivering the Suplex. He pumped himself up by celebrating, but as he was doing so, Strowman sat right up!  Without taking time to recuperate, Strowman went right after the ‘Beast.’ He caught Lesnar by the throat and delivered a huge Chokeslam. The crowd was shocked as Lesnar sat helpless in front of his new nemesis.  Post his decimation of Lesnar, Braun Strowman picked up the Universal Championship and held it high. He even put his large foot over the chest of Lesnar, asserting his dominance.  This was one of the most shocking moments in WWE history. Never before had fans seen Brock Lesnar being overpowered by a stronger opponent. The vulnerability in his eyes made this one of the most iconic moments in WWE history. The last time such humiliation was seen was when The Great Khali destroyed The Undertaker inside the ring and pinned him in the same fashion. Brock Lesnar was completely defeated, and Paul Heyman couldn’t believe what he was seeing.  Unfortunately, Braun Strowman could not win the title and was beaten by Lesnar in the storyline. Nonetheless, it was a clash of titans and a great feud for fans.  Also Read: Reason Why Brock Lesnar And Chris Jericho Almost Got Into A Real Fight in WWE

From Eddie Guerrero to Seth Rollins, Top WWE Superstars Who Have Defeated Brock Lesnar
By admin | | 0 Comments |

Brock Lesnar was portrayed as an invincible beast throughout his tenure in WWE. As he was in the good books of Vince McMahon and as an immensely popular wrestler, he mostly won all of his matches. However, there are some instances when even the ‘Beast Incarnate’ fell weak. The ones who beat Lesnar were top-tier Superstars themselves, and if not, they became legitimate Superstars after decimating the ‘Beast.’ Let’s look at some top instances where the “Beast” became human. Big Show was the first Superstar to tame Brock Lesnar The modern-era giant faced Lesnar in a title match at Survivor Series. Lesnar was about to win the match, but his ‘manager’ Paul Heyman betrayed him. Lesnar came in with injured ribs but still gained leverage over Big Show. However, Show took advantage of Heyman’s betrayal and hit Lesnar’s rib with a chair. He followed it up with a chokeslam and won the match and the WWE title. Following his loss to Big Show, Lesnar saw two losses in two years. Kurt Angle retained his WWE title after making Lesnar submit to the Ankle lock. At No Way Out 2004, Eddie Guerrero surprisingly defeated Lesnar. Guerrero won his first and only WWE Championship with this victory. Brock Lesnar has been defeated more in the PG Era Towards the end of the Ruthless Aggression Era, Lesnar left WWE for UFC. After being hugely successful in the octagon, Lesnar returned to WWE in 2012. As the then-RAW General Manager wanted him to be the ‘new face’ of WWE, Lesnar went head to head with John Cena. Their feud culminated at Extreme Rules 2012, when Cena defeated Lesnar in an extreme rules match. Lesnar had a long feud with Triple H. What started as a disagreement over contracts soon turned into a fight for greatness. The feud saw Lesnar busting his head open and Triple H’s career being on the line. It ended when ‘The Game defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 29. Ending The Undertaker‘s formidable streak will always be one of Lesnar’s greatest achievements. However, ‘The Deadman’ got his revenge when he cost Lesnar a title opportunity at Battleground. Undertaker and Lesnar then settled the score at SummerSlam 2015. Undertaker delivered a low-blow to Lesnar before putting him into the ‘Hell’s Gate’ submission. Lesnar refused to submit and gave Taker the middle finger before passing out and losing the match. Notably, Lesnar has also lost twice to a single Superstar in this era. Seth Rollins and Goldberg both defeated ‘the Beast’ twice. After WrestleMania 20, Goldberg defeated Lesnar at Survivor Series 2016. Rollins defeated Lesnar at WrestleMania 35 and SummerSlam 2019. The current World Champions of WWE have also defeated Lesnar. Universal Champion Roman Reigns defeated Lesnar in 2018, one year before his Shield brother defeated him. Coincidentally, Reigns won his first Universal title after this match. Similar to Reigns, the current WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, won his first World title after defeating Lesnar at WrestleMania last year. Since then, Lesnar has left WWE. Whenever WWE gets someone to defeat Lesnar, it is usually because the management wants to put over the Superstar. After all, defeating the ‘Beast Incarnate’ is not an easy feat. “She’s Going to Reach Very, Very High Levels” – WWE Hall of Farmer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Praises Bianca Belair and Edge
By admin | | 0 Comments |

WWE Hall of Famer, Steve Austin, holds multiple Royal Rumble records, including the most wins in the marquee match of the event. Apart from his Rumble records, Austin’s profound knowledge about the wrestling industry makes him one of the most valuable people in professional wrestling. Recently, Austin appeared on the latest episode of WWE’s The Bump. Host Kayla Braxton asked him his opinions on the winners of the Royal Rumble 2021. Austin first gave his opinion on the ‘EST’, who has seen a meteoric rise in her career since last year. WWE even broadcasted a Chronicle episode focusing on her journey, and Austin watched that. “To hear her backstory and where she came from, and where she came from, and the struggles that she overcame, and how goal-oriented… she is… And the EST thing about being the greatest, being the fastest, being the strongest… I mean that to be such at such a young age and to think of something that; that’s an incredible marketing ploy right there.” Austin thinks that Bianca Belair is one of the smartest persons in the company. “She has a great look, tons of athletic ability and so much charisma,” Austin said. “Bianca Belair is going to be around for a long time. She is going to reach very, very high levels.” Steve Austin thinks Edge did a ‘shoot’ last year As far as the Men’s Royal Rumble goes, Austin thought Randy Orton will join him with three wins this year. However, Edge defied his expectations and emerged as the surprise victor. Looking back at the “Rated-R Superstar’s return last year, Austin said it was truly phenomenal because they still had the live crowd back then. “It was almost like it was a shoot. As a performer, you live and die by that response and that’s a shoot. Ad nobody can tell you any different because if they do they are lying to you. “So for him to win that and make that kind of quote. He did not want to understand how it is happening. He just wants to enjoy the ride. So, what a great moment! “It could have gone either way. But it picked a great direction. Now I’m hooked to the Road to WrestleMania.” concluded Austin. Edge and Bianca will both choose their respective champions for WrestleMania. Edge recently appeared on NXT to tease a match with NXT Champion Finn Balor. Bianca, on the other hand, is yet to choose her opponent. The next few weeks will be crucial for the two stars as well as the WWE Universe. Read More – What Went Wrong with Sting’s WWE Run in 2015?

“It Was a Match Made in Heaven”- WWE Legend “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Opens Up on His Feud With Vince McMahon
By admin | | 0 Comments |

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin was one of WWE’s most popular in-ring performers of all time. His charisma combined with a rebellious gimmick made him a fan-favorite in no-time and his legendary feud with The Rock cemented his name in the history books.  Although Stone Cold vs The Rock is always in the spotlight, another feud that defined the career of ‘The Rattlesnake’ was his spat with WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.  Throughout the Attitude Era, Stone Cold delivered the best moments with McMahon and the two were at each others’ throats at any given time.  In a recent interview on WWE’s The Bump, ‘The Rattlesnake’ opened up about what it was like working with McMahon and getting to beat up his boss in front of a live audience. “Well, you know Vince always wanted to be an in-ring performer, but his dad wouldn’t let him and so he turned into the greatest promoter of all time. This window of opportunity opens up organically so that we may start feuding together; he puts himself in the ring,” said Austin. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin satisfied fans in his feud with Vince McMahon “People love to hate him and they love to love me at the time because I was working baby (face), but it was a match made in heaven and an angle that transcended the business because if you weren’t into pro wrestling or Sports entertainment, you were into the fact that you had a boss,  sometimes you didn’t like your boss and you’d like to knock your boss’s head off. I was doing that on a weekly basis,” joked Stone Cold.  “And that’s always set the table for me to be smart to get the upper hand for them, to get the heat back when they needed it and for that storyline to just keep unfolding,” explained Austin. “So what a magnificent story told over maybe two years period of time, but just a pleasure to work with and a just one of the greatest angles in the history of the business.” Stone Cold emulated the desires of the fans when he beat up his boss. He was a hero not only for WWE but also for society in general whenever he took out Vince McMahon’s expensive corvette with concrete or flooded the ring with his iconic beer truck.  The Chairman was game, and so was Austin. The two gave us plenty of memorable moments and continue to do so through their contribution to the professional wrestling world.
